My name is Sarah Madder. I am a student at Sunnyslope High School. I want to go abroad with AFS because I want to learn french and experience another culture. This sounds like a school essay but I had preplanned questions. Sorry everyone.:) Any way from this experience I plan on gaining a new insight to other cultures and a very good grasp of french! My family supports me on my decision to travel with AFS but I can tell my mom is a little sad. I know all of my friends are insanely jealous. Some challenges I need to over come are just finishing the application process! That thing takes FOREVER. Also its pretty expensive so thats a big one to. To contribute t my fundraising efforts I have been selling chocolate at school. Its not much but it helps. Considereing im trying to go the China with my choir this summer also. My what a little world traveler im becoming! XD
